I graduated from the University of Oslo in 2007 with a masters degree in Health Economics, Policy and Management. Since then, I have been working with economic evaluations of health care programmes in various institutions in Norwegian health care, including the Norwegian Directory of Health, Oslo University Hospital and the Norwegian Knowledge Center for the Health Services. I am currently employed as a senior adviser in the Norwegian Medicines Agency in the department of Timely Access, where we are doing Single Technology Assessments (STA) of pharmaceuticals candidate for public financing. The Norwegian Medicines Agency are decision makers whether general reimbursement of pharmaceuticals is being granted through the National Insurance Scheme. I was also part of the working group that updated the guidelines for the submission of documentation for STA of pharmaceuticals in Norway, which was valid from January 1st 2018.
