Dr. Terence Eagleton graduated from University College London with honours in physiology before going on to study medicine at University College London Medical School. Following post graduate training in general surgery, he joined the pharmaceutical industry in 2000 after which he has been responsible for the global clinical development and commercialisation of numerous innovative drugs for rare diseases. During this time he has held roles of increasing responsibility at Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma, Shire Human Genetic Therapies, BioMarin Pharmaceuticals, Synageva BioPharma Co. Genzyme Corp. and Kyowa Kirin International. He currently works as a Senior Medical Director focusing on orphan drug development at Medpace Inc., a scientifically-driven, global full service clinical research organisation providing services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical devices industries.

Dr. Eagleton regularly speaks at rare disease conferences and has authored a number of articles in peer reviewed journals.
